Methodology · how NetCashOut estimates cash-out costs
How an estimate is calculated
For a chosen asset and amount, the estimate multiplies the amount by a delayed reference price and the day's blended FX reference, then subtracts the service's published sell fee (the exact product and tier named on the card) and its published bank-withdrawal fee. When an asset has no direct pair at a service, that asset is excluded from that service's estimate and the exclusion is stated on the card.
What an estimate requires
- A direct trading pair for the asset and local currency, verified on the service's official public market list or API.
- A published fee schedule on the service's official fee page, for the specific product a retail user would use.
- A documented bank withdrawal in the local currency, with its published fee and minimum.
All three must check out on the date shown on the card. If any piece is missing, the service shows "Not enough data" instead of a number.
What estimates exclude
Spreads, slippage, network or miner fees, membership or subscription costs, bank-side charges, and taxes (unless you enter your own rate in the optional tax line). The estimate is a reference, not a quote, and excludes costs we cannot verify.
"Not enough data" is not a rating
Missing evidence is labeled, never guessed. A service without an estimate is not worse or better; it means we could not verify the complete published route on the check date.
Prices and exchange rates
Crypto prices are delayed CoinMarketCap references, or clearly labeled samples when unavailable. FX is a blended daily Frankfurter reference. When live prices (or FX for non-US routes) are unavailable, comparison estimates pause and show only published official fee data rather than sample-derived numbers.
Ordering
When estimates are calculable, services are ordered by lowest estimated cost for your input; otherwise the list is unranked. Ordering is never paid for. There are no affiliate or tracking links today; if any are added later, they will be marked next to the link and will never change the numbers or the order.
Check dates and updates
Fees and routes are checked manually against official pages on the dates shown (currently Oct 24-25, 2026); they are not updated automatically. Every service page lists its official sources. Fee pages change; confirm the current terms in your account before using a service.
